We understand that you may not have made a claim for damage to your property before, and the insurance claim and repair process may be a new experience to you. We have stepped out the process below for you, however if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact our friendly staff for further explanation.
Following lodgement of an insurance claim, your insurer will allocate the assessment and repair process to a preferred builder. As a preferred builder ProBuild Australia will partner with you from beginning to end.
You will receive a request from ProBuild Australia via a phone call or mobile link to arrange a suitable date and time for one of our experienced Estimators to attend your property and assess the damage.
Our Estimator will attend site to discuss the circumstances of the claim with you. They will inspect the damage, take photos for your insurer, and prepare a report and scope of works to be approved by your insurer.
Our assessment report and repair quote will be submitted to your insurer for approval.
Upon approval by your insurer to proceed with repairs, we will contact you to provide the required documentation including a scope of works and authority to proceed for your review and approval.
After you have returned the signed documentation and paid your excess (if applicable) an experienced Building Supervisor will be appointed, and repairs will begin.
Upon completion of the repair, documentation will be sent for your approval and feedback of the completed works.
